Job Overview

  • Working as a senior product manager in our retention group offers the chance to collaborate with very talented groups of in-house engineers, designers, and data scientists to solve real-world problems that have a huge scale of impact across Africa.
  • Retention is responsible for retaining our customers by continuously providing them with life changing products such as cash loans, insurance, and buy-now-pay-later products.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Digital Financial Services: We are dedicated to offering our customers financial services, such as cash loans, through our M-KOPA App and across our key markets.
  • Eligibility: Collaborate with data scientists to implement real-time eligibility decisions, enabling M-KOPA to determine if a customer is eligible for financial services.
  • Identity: Responsible for ensuring M-KOPA users can seamlessly and securely authenticate across our suite of apps.
  • Fraud: Work as a team to identify fraud and malicious intent while protecting users.
  • Customer Interactions: Responsible for direct interactions with customers, including the native Android app, SMS, and USSD services.
