The Role
- We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Sales Executive to join our SME team.
- This role is crucial in driving the growth of our SME platform by creating awareness, demonstrating the platform’s features, and building strong relationships with potential clients.
- The Sales Executive will focus on proactive outreach and face-to-face interactions.
Responsibilities
Prospecting and Outreach:
- Identify and target potential SME clients through various channels.
- Conduct face-to-face meetings, calls, and networking to build a robust sales pipeline.
Product Demonstrations:
- Conduct engaging and informative demos of our SME platform to potential clients.
- Clearly communicate the benefits and features of our platform to business owners and decision-makers.
Relationship Building:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Act as the primary point of contact for prospect SMEs, providing them with excellent customer service and support.
Market Awareness and Promotion:
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking sessions to promote the SME platform.
- Create awareness of the platform’s features through presentations, webinars, and other promotional activities.
Sales Target Achievement:
- Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs set by the company.
- Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities and progress to the SME Product Head.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with the Marketing and Product teams to ensure client feedback is incorporated into future product enhancements.
- Coordinate with the business development team to ensure a seamless handover of new clients and opportunities.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Higher National Diploma (HND) in a related field (e.g., Finance, Business, Economics).
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in SME banking/lending, sales, or business development within the financial services industry.
- Proven experience in HNI sales, preferably in the financial services or technology sectors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to conduct engaging product demos.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment as well as meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to spend a significant amount of time outside the office visiting clients meeting prospects in person, and attending and organizing events.
