Job Title: Finance Operations Specialist.

The Role
- The Operations Finance role is responsible for the end-to-end process of settlements and reconciliation of PayU Nigeria financial data as well as Merchant data.
- This role is the link between Global accounting and local financial data, providing accuracy and insight to ensure alignment.
What Will You Do
- Reconciliation of merchant transactions.
- Analysis of merchant transactions.
- Verification and alignment of settlement of merchant data.
- Resolution of any reconciliation issues or settlement issues that may arise.
- Responsible for communication with local banks.
- Ensuring the accuracy of settlement data.
- Providing businesses with detailed reporting.
- Consolidate reporting for the month-end process.
- Collaborate with the global finance team to ensure an accurate and timely month-end close.
- Provide audit support.
What We Look For?
- PayU is looking for a candidate who has the relevant University Degree (Finance/Economics/Analytics/Accounting).
- Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in a similar role or finance related role.
- Excellent Excel skills and exposure to global financial tools.
