Job Description

Job Summary

  • As a Billing Officer, you’ll ensure our billing processes are efficient, accurate, and timely.
  • You’ll prepare and deliver customer bills, maintain precise records, and collaborate with various departments to keep our financial operations running smoothly.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Aggregate and prepare individual customer bills for all transactions.
  • Ensure the timely dispatch of monthly invoices.
  • Maintain secure and accurate records of all invoices.
  • Prepare customer/patient invoices for services rendered.
  • Ensure all services are accurately priced and the approved tariff is executed.
  • Strive for the full satisfaction of internal and external customers.
  • Ensure all outgoing invoices are acknowledged.
  • Support periodic contract and tariff reviews.
  • Report financial and operational data monthly.
  • Maintain full patient confidentiality.
  • Upload and code all invoices/claims for clients.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • B.Sc, OND, or HND in Science or Social Science.
  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong business and statistical analysis skills.
  • Excellent communication and people management skills.
  • Exceptional oral, written, and presentation skills.
