Job Overview
- We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Registrar in Radiology to join our team. The Senior Registrar will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services, supervising junior radiology staff, and contributing to the academic and clinical development of the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and interpret a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, MRI, ultrasound, and interventional radiology.
- Supervise and mentor junior radiology staff, including registrars and interns.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and provide radiological input for patient management.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
- Conduct and participate in clinical audits, research projects, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols.
- Participate in teaching and training programs for medical students, junior doctors, and radiology trainees.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and ensure compliance with medical documentation standards.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in radiology and integrate evidence-based practices into clinical care.
Qualifications
- Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
- Registration with the relevant medical board or council.
- Completion of specialty training and fellowship in Radiology.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Registrar in a radiology department.
- Demonstrated clinical competence and expertise in diagnostic and interventional radiology.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and education.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
